In-Home Pet Sitting: questions we are often asked
How is in-home sitting different from boarding?
With in-home sitting we stay at your place and your pets are our only booking. With dog boarding, your dog stays with us in our home.
Are you licensed and trained in pet first aid?
Yes. Bark Buddy is licensed by the City of Swift Current (business licence No. 5587), and both Perry and Parin hold Canadian Red Cross First Aid for Dogs and Cats certificates (Perry No. 106503049, Parin No. 106495876, both valid until October 2028). You can check them on the Red Cross website.
How much does in-home pet sitting cost?
$99 as an exclusive booking for up to two pets.
Will I hear from you while I am away?
Yes. We send photos and updates throughout the booking.
Is there anything to sign?
Before care begins, we ask you to review and sign our Client Policy & Waiver Form, which covers care standards and emergencies.
What do you need from me first?
A free Meet & Greet at your home, up-to-date vaccinations and flea and tick prevention, and notes on medication, allergies or anything that makes your pet nervous.
