Common questions
Cat Visits: questions we are often asked
What happens during a cat visit?
We come to your home and look after feeding, fresh water and the litter box, then spend time on play and a proper cuddle.
Are you licensed and trained in pet first aid?
Yes. Bark Buddy is licensed by the City of Swift Current (business licence No. 5587), and both Perry and Parin hold Canadian Red Cross First Aid for Dogs and Cats certificates (Perry No. 106503049, Parin No. 106495876, both valid until October 2028). You can check them on the Red Cross website.
How much do cat visits cost?
$25 per visit. Each extra pet is $9.
Do you board cats?
We look after cats in their own home rather than boarding them, so they keep their routine and surroundings.
Will I get updates?
Yes. We send pictures and updates during every booking.
What do you need before the first visit?
A free Meet & Greet at your home, so we can meet your cat and learn their routine, plus anything we should know about medication or allergies.
