We’ll come to you, spend some time getting to know your pet, learn their routine, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before any care begins.

I recently hired Parin (Bark Buddy) for my little weiner dog. After the 3rd day of only 1 hr visits each, Frank is in love with him. Now, whenever I say “let’s go see Parin”, he starts zooming everywhere, tail wagging and so excited. This tells me that he is a great pet sitter who is passionate about what he does. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch over my pup. They have flexible hours and are willing to help out as much as possible. I will be telling everyone I know, with pets who need a sitter, about this company!
Dog boardingEasy to do business with. Kept us updated on our dog during his stay. When he got home he was super tired so I know they were giving him lots of attention and walks. Will use them again and would recommend to anyone that is looking to use their services.

I would recommend Bark Buddy to anyone who is in need! I was hesitant to leave her somewhere new, but when we met Parin, I knew it would be a great fit!

They were amazing with Aurora our puppy — she had so much fun she didn’t even want to come with us. I loved how they would send pictures and updates the whole time we were gone so we knew she was being cared for. We will be using him every time we go out of town, or even away for the day!

Questions we are often asked
Do I have to pay for the first visit?
Not at all. The Meet & Greet is completely free and there’s no obligation to book afterwards. We come to your home, meet your pet, and the decision is entirely yours.
Are you licensed and trained in pet first aid?
Yes. Bark Buddy is licensed by the City of Swift Current (business licence No. 5587), and both Perry and Parin hold Canadian Red Cross First Aid for Dogs and Cats certificates (Perry No. 106503049, Parin No. 106495876, both valid until October 2028). You can check them on the Red Cross website.
What area do you cover?
We serve Swift Current, Saskatchewan and the immediate surrounding area. If you are just outside town, please give us a call and we’ll gladly let you know whether we can reach you.
How many pets do you take at once?
We keep our boarding and daycare intentionally small, caring for only a few pets at a time in our own home. This allows us to give each pet plenty of personal attention, comfort, and care in a relaxed, home-like environment. For daycare, that means never more than 3 dogs at a time. 🐾❤️
What do you need from me before a booking?
We simply ask that pets are up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick prevention. If you could let us know in advance about any medication, allergies or nervousness around other animals, it helps us look after them properly.
Will I hear from you while I am away?
Absolutely. We’ll keep you updated with photos and little check-ins throughout your pet’s stay, so you can relax knowing they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. 🐾❤️
What happens if I need to cancel?
Please just let us know as early as you can. Cancellations within 7 days of the booking may be subject to a fee, as the space is held exclusively for your pet.
