Dog Walking: questions we are often asked
How long is each walk?
Each walk is a full 30 minutes of sniffing, exploring and real exercise, paced to suit your dog.
Are you licensed and trained in pet first aid?
Yes. Bark Buddy is licensed by the City of Swift Current (business licence No. 5587), and both Perry and Parin hold Canadian Red Cross First Aid for Dogs and Cats certificates (Perry No. 106503049, Parin No. 106495876, both valid until October 2028). You can check them on the Red Cross website.
How much does dog walking cost?
$45 per 30-minute walk. Each extra dog from the same home is $9.
Do you walk dogs in winter?
Yes. Walks carry on through the Swift Current winter — you’ll find plenty of snowy walks in our gallery.
Can I book regular walks?
Yes. Some of our dogs walk with us several times a week. Start with the free Meet & Greet and we’ll plan a schedule that fits your week.
What do you need from me first?
A free Meet & Greet at your home, up-to-date vaccinations and flea and tick prevention, and secure gardens and gates. Please tell us about any medication, allergies or nervousness around other animals.
